Severed Hand (A Very Herrera Holiday, New Repertory Theater 2020)
This prop was my first attempt at a gore effect. The budget was limited so I ended up using white flesh tone model magic clay as my primary material, and my own hand for size reference. Originally, the show was going to air (via zoom) during Halloween; the hand was written in to be explained away as a decoration (but leave the audience in doubt), so there was a margin of cheese I could get away with.
