"Scorpio"

​Modeled after the Ottoman yataghan, details from this project take inspiration from the limbs of a scorpion.
The blade and base were constructed from white oak, while the handle utilized purpleheart wood and cedar inlay. All shaping was accomplished using a ban saw as well as rasps and files; secondary shaping (such as of the edge and hilt) was accomplished with rasps, files, and sanding.
