"Black Rose"
The inspiration for this project came from the name of a pub in Boston (its namesake).
The blade and hilt were constructed from plywood. Major shaping of the blade and hilt was accomplished with a ban saw, rasps and files, and smaller details were sculpted with a dremel tool. The grip consists of woven plastic tubing and green floral wire.
